The 2011
Piedmont Panthers football team made a
tremendous second half comeback Friday night
to defeat the Ragin Bulls of Hickory Ridge.
Jr. QB Sawyer Baucom passed 10 yards to Jr.
Receiver, Cody Purser with 17 seconds left
to tie the game at 20 – 20. With an extra
point ensuing, Piedmont kicker, Simpson, won
the game after her kick was tipped at the
line of scrimmage and went through the up
rights. Piedmont showed what they were made
off Friday night and never gave up in the
game. The panthers will take on arch rival
Porter Ridge this Friday night at Piedmont
HS.” Come out and support your panthers. See
